Precision Tubular Components
Since 1994, IFUTEC has been regarded as an expert for demanding machining tasks on tubular or rod-shaped components, both in the automotive industry and increasingly in other sectors, when it comes to forming, joining or cutting tubular or rod-shaped components.
Originally founded as an engineering office for forming technology, IFUTEC has added other innovative manufacturing technologies for cutting and joining in addition to special tube forming processes such as expanding, axial forming, drawing-in, magnetic pulse forming, roller burnishing and rotary swaging.
This includes high-speed IMPULSCUT® forming as well as special resistance welding processes such as medium-frequency welding and capacitor discharge welding, also known as KES or CD welding (Capacitor Discharge welding).
